Nayna Networks Expands VoIP and Internet Video Markets - Serves High Quality Broadband Over Fiber

Dr. Raj Jain Highlights Triple Play & VoIP Opportunities & Impact At ITF 2005

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nayna Networks, Inc., (BULLETIN BOARD: NAYN) , a provider of next generation network solutions, today announced that Dr. Raj Jain, Nayna co-founder and chief technology officer, is an invited speaker at the International Technology forum (ITF) 2005: Emerging Technologies and Diversity Leadership, held on October 20-21, 2005 at the Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club; details are provided below.
In remarks prepared for the occasion, Dr. Jain discusses with corporate decision makers and government leaders the market opportunities and social impact of globally ubiquitous higher quality broadband access. "Emerging high quality broadband access including Nayna's Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) and Fiber-To-The-Small Business (FTTSB) solutions are routinely delivering enterprise quality VoIP and other non-stop, mission critical, real time information -- in a new uniquely competitive manner that is changing human behavior, business practices and social customs. VoIP travels with you wherever the Internet is."

According to Dr. Jain, "With cost lowering VoIP over broadband, small business and ordinary citizens are expecting to be in-touch and productive from the home, school, office, hotel, and even the local coffee shop. With VoIP over broadband you can talk to anyone in world at anytime for as long as you want. VoIP and Internet video broadband technologies are changing social behavior patterns in a manner similar to instant messaging. Long distance VoIP and Internet video are very low cost and therefore opening the market to a new audience of small businesses and even children."

"Higher quality broadband induced management challenges for multi-site global companies include modest changes of corporate culture in regards to working hours, and weekend differences between the USA and the Far East -- to major changes including software tool standardization, new methods of project management without face-to-face meetings, cross-cultural sensitivity, enabling secure remote access to the servers containing valuable design documents," stated Dr. Jain. "ITF 2005 is an excellent opportunity for industry leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, analysts, and investors to exchange ideas about new technologies and adapting new technologies for success within our society."

Dr. Jain is a Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of ACM and a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE Communications Society. Based on his active participation in the computer industry, Dr. Jain was awarded the 1999 Siliconindia Leadership Award for Excellence and Promise in Business and Technology.
