This gives customers the choice of using Mitel's feature rich call control or the feature set defined by the SIP protocol. Already, Mitel's MiNET protocol is integrated with VocalData's session border controller, which enables users to simply plug in IP phones and immediately activate service behind enterprise firewalls.
