Lenovo For Macintosh Users:
YOU MUST INSTALL THE CURRENT VERSION OF APPLE'S CARBONLIB IN ORDER FOR THE EXERCISES TO WORK PROPERLY.

Hard Drive Drag and drop the CarbonLib 1.5.smi file onto your hard drive. Double click on this file and follow the instructions.

Storage CD functionality notes:
This CD contains interactive materials all of which will play in any browser from version 4.0 and upwards. This include Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicator for both Macintosh OS 9 and OSX and Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP.

Seagate The CD will open with a splash screen (file name start.html) and then you are invited to click on the ENTER text link. This will take you to a main opening screen containing credits and instructions. From here, you will be invited to click on any Chapter number in the top horizontal frame. This will lead you to the interactive contents for each chapter. In the left hand navigation frame, you will find that the text buttons Home, Activities, Links are active, when you roll your mouse over them and will be triggered on a single mouse click. The Home link will take you to the opening screen or beginning. The Links text button will open a links page in the right hand frame. If you have an Internet connection, you will be able to click to connect with the Companion Web Site for your CD and text.

Computer Sales The Activities text button will produce a popup menu, when you roll over it with your mouse. Each of the text links in the popup menu may be clicked to take you to each particular activity, which will appear in the right hand frame. This may be Chapter Objectives or Outlines, Animations, an Audio Glossary, a Flash Card Glossary, or various types of interactive Quizzes.

Computer Hardware If your CD contains a Flash Card glossary and you wish to enter your own terms and definitions, simply copy the files from the path /glossary/ to your hard drive, if you are a Windows user, or drag and drop the files from the folder /macintosh/glossary/ to your hard drive, if you are a Macintosh user.

Printers If you are having trouble with this CD, please refer to the troubleshooting sections of all documentation you received with the package. Be sure to check the disk for any README files, as any last minute revisions or bug fixes may be noted there. These resources contain many useful tips.
