Desktop Computer Brancato, 29, has continued to act in television and movies such
as The Crimson Tide with Denzel Washington, but was arrested last
June for heroin possession.
Notebooks Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, during a press conference told
reporters that the actor and another man were breaking into a
vacant home in the Bronx when Enchautegui, who had just finished a
late-night shift, heard the sound of smashing glass next door.
Lenovo Enchautegui was off duty and in his street clothes, but he
notified his landlord, dialed 911 to report a burglary in progress,
then went outside with his shield and service weapon to
investigate.

Enchautegui was struck with a bullet from a .357-calibre Smith
& Wesson revolver.

cop. Brancato, who police said was unarmed, was shot twice. Both
suspects were listed in serious condition at Jacobi Medical Center
in the Bronx, the same hospital where the police officer died.
Gateway Enchautegui, who had been on the force for about three years,
was the second officer to die in the line of duty in 2005. The
first cop-killing occurred less than two weeks ago in Brooklyn.

Michael Bloomberg, who joined Kelly at the hospital. "We now have
another life to mourn, taken from us for no sensible reason."
Software Police said Armento had a long rap sheet with arrests on
weapons, drugs and burglary charges. He was running with the murder
