Trial also will study the activity of the two therapeutic agents to determine median survival for people with advanced soft tissue sarcoma. Candidates 18 or older may be included who have a histologically proven soft tissue sarcoma ( gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), Kaposi's Sarcoma, mesotheliomas) and recurrent or progressive disease defined as an increase in size of any existing tumor mass, or the development of new tumor mass, that is not amenable to surgical therapy.

Hard Drive Purpose: To find out the prevalence and natural history of bone and soft tissue tumors of the Department for academic purposes.
Travelstar Material and Methods: Retrospective survey study of all tumor patients of the bone tumor clinic was carried out between 1992 and 1999. There were 611 patients with 291 males and 320 females. Their ages ranged between 1 and 81 years.
Gateway Results : The 5 most common benign bone tumors (130 cases) were osteochondroma (30), giant cell tumor (25), fibrous dysplasia (12), simple bone (128 cases) were lipoma (31), hemangioma (19), fibromatoses 915), giant cell tumor of tendon sheath (9), neurofibroma (8) and the 5 most common malignant bone tumor 9149 cases) were osteogenic sarcoma (78), Ewing sarcoma (12), malignant fibrous histocytoma (10), fibrosarcoma (9), multiple myeloma (8).

Data Recovery Purpose: To have a practical and useful programme for tumor registry the study was performed.
Cisco Materials and Methods: A taylor tumor registry programme is built by 4th generation language (Visual basic 6) as front-end part which using input data. The data which enter the system are actually collected in database managed by Microsoft Access 97. Since the application program bases on Window, so some data can be linked to SPSS/FW for statistical process.
Keyboard Results: It is used for collecting the data of 611 patients of our patients in bone tumor clinic. Statistical process can be displayed successfully.
Monitor Conclusion: We purpose a useful programme for tumor registry which will have a clinical and academic impact.

Intel Introduction: To review the experience with two models of PS-type knee prosthesis in primary total knee arthroplasty. Some modification of surgical technique were tried and good results obtained.
As400 Materials and Methods: Two groups of OA patients comprised of 266 cemented total knee replacement were studied. Gr I (IB-II group) had 178 cases, Gr II (NEXGEN LPS) had 74 cases. One hundred fifty eight females and 20 males were belong to Gr I. There were 67 females and 7 males in Gr II. Anterior midline incision was used. We addressed the symmetry of the extension gap and nice-balanced rectangular gap was ensured. Most of the patella were resurfaced with prosthetic button 29 and 32 with restoration of the original thickness. Post op. management included ROM with or without CPM machine. While closure, two drilled hole sutures were added to control the medial edge of the patella. Partial weight bearing ambulation was allowed early. Most of the patients could bear full weight after 3 weeks post op. without brace or special support.
Averatec Results : The follow-up period of Gr I averaged 4.9 years. Gr II was followed from 4 months to 30 months. Clinical, Gr II (NEXGEN-LPS) showed better ROM ranged 105 -135 of flexion. Patellar problem were seen in 5 knees. Three patellar clunk syndrome were encountered in Gr I. There were 3 superficial wound infection and 5 deep wound infection. Three were salvaged with multiple debridement. Two required knee arthrodesis. Three DVT and one suspected pulmonary embolism were noted. Three periprosthetic fracture (supracondylar) were encountered.
Hardware Discussion : Attention to detail can make the difference between a successful TKA and a symptomatic TKA. In order to obtain good ROM post op. besides the prosthetic design factor meticulous soft tissue balancing was most essential. It is of utmost important to correct the deformity to good alignment and checked stability in both flexion and extension position. The patellar tracking in Gr II was smoother and less lateral release was needed. Proper cement technique is another prerequisite to success. We had been using intraoperative hand-made vacuum mixing device for the past 3 years with satisfactory results.
