Storage The main screen for this CD-ROM enables you to access all the items listed in the Contents section of this Read Me file. To launch the main screen, double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop, then double-click the CD-ROM drive icon. The contents of the CD will appear - double-click on the file "start.exe".

Seagate Alternatively, click on the Windows Start button, click Run, then enter "d:\start.exe" (or substitute d for your CD-ROM drive letter) in the Open dialog box. Hit "OK", and the main screen will appear.

Computer Sales To Install content to your computer's hard drive:
Click on Install to open a submenu with all the items on the CD. Click on the item that you wish to install on your hard drive. Once installed, use My Computer or Windows Explorer to locate and use the files.

Computer Hardware There are icons on the left side of the main screen. Each icon, including any submenus, is explained below.

1. Printers Prentice Hall logo
   Click on this logo to open the main page of the Prentice Hall Web site. A browser (i.e. Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) is required to open the Web page.

2. Technology ReadMe
   Click on this icon to open this Read Me file. It is a text file and should open on any computer.

3. Mainframe Browse
   Click on this icon to open an Explorer window that can be used to browse the CD-ROM contents. The Browse directory on this CD contains files that can be opened and viewed directly from the CD.

4. Samsung Install
   This feature allows you to install the components of the CD to your hard drive.

5. Computer Repair Exit

However, educational versions are not entitled to registration services available with fully licensed versions of Peachtree applications. Only fully licensed versions of Peachtree products can be registered. Cheap Computer All reports printed in educational versions will include the following text on the first line of each header: ****EDUCATIONAL VERSION ONLY****. This line is removed once you purchase a fully licensed version.

Digital Camera The Services menu is not available in educational versions of Peachtree. This means online services such as Peachtree Credit Card Service, Peachtree Web Accounting, Peachtree WebsiteCreator Pro, Peachtree WebsiteTrader, and Peachtree Internet Postage Service cannot be accessed. These services are only available to licensed and registered versions of Peachtree.

Printer Payroll Tax Tables and Tax Service Registration - Current and accurate payroll tax tables are not included in trial or educational versions of Peachtree Accounting. Federal, state, and most local payroll taxes will not calculate automatically or accurately during payroll entry. In order to calculate actual, accurate, and applicable tax amounts, you must purchase a fully licensed version of Peachtree Accounting, subscribe to the Peachtree Payroll Tax Service, register for this service, and install the latest Tax Service update.
