Storage The main screen for this CD-ROM enables you to access all the items listed in the Contents section of this Read Me file. To launch the main screen, double-click the My Computer icon on your desktop, then double-click the CD-ROM drive icon. The contents of the CD will appear - double-click on the file "start.exe".

Seagate Alternatively, click on the Windows Start button, click Run, then enter "d:\start.exe" (or substitute d for your CD-ROM drive letter) in the Open dialog box. Hit "OK", and the main screen will appear.

Computer Sales Click on Install to open a submenu with all the items on the CD. Click on the item that you wish to install on your hard drive. Once installed, use My Computer or Windows Explorer to locate and use the files.

2. Cheap Computer MS Windows NT and 2000 Requirements:

Digital Camera If you are installing PH ReEnforcer v4.0 on to a computer with Microsoft Windows NT v4.0 or Microsoft Windows 2000, you will need to be logged in as local machine administrator prior to installing the software. Some system files may need to be replaced and new files added and registered.

3. Printer Operating System Requirements

Xseries PH ReEnforcer v4.0 requires Microsoft Windows operating systems, which include:

• Maxtor MS Windows 95, 98, 2000, Millennium Edition (ME)

• Data Storage MS Windows NT 4.0

4. Hitachi MDAC Software Requirements

Rational PH ReEnforcer v4.0 is a database based application. In order for the application to operate correctly, the software requires the latest version of the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC). The current version at the time of the distribution of this product is MDAC v2.5 (file version 2.50.4403.6). The installation for the MDAC v2.5 is included on this distribution CD in the Install/PH ReEnforcer v8.0\MDAC folder. Run the MDAC_TYP.EXE file to install the Microsoft Data Access Components v2.5.

Websphere The PH ReEnforcer v4.0 installation will verify that you have the correct version of the MDAC installed. If it finds the installed version lacking, it will prompt you to run the MDAC v2.5 setup.

5. Battery A note to MS Windows 95 users:

It Support The MDAC installation may require you to install DCOM (Distributed Component Object Model) support prior to installing the MDAC. There is an installation for the DCOM support provided on this CD in the Install/PH ReEnforcer v8.0\MDAC folder. Run the DCOM98.EXE program to install the DCOM support on either MS Windows 95 or MS Windows 98.
