Staff The Southern Kingfish Association sanctions 45 king mackerel tournaments in the southeastern United States. It then divides this tour into regional divisions. In addition, the open division offers 10 tournaments for professional tournament fishermen. Boats 23 feet or smaller can compete in the small-boat division.
