Unisys Board Elects Matthew J. Espe of IKON Office Solutions as Director
BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 26, 2004--The Board of Directors of Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) has elected Matthew J. Espe, chairman and chief executive officer of IKON Office Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:IKN), to fill a newly-created director position. The Board will now have 11 members.

Espe, 45, has led IKON since 2002. IKON provides integrated document management systems and services that help businesses manage document workflow and increase efficiency. With fiscal 2003 revenues of $4.7 billion, IKON has approximately 600 locations throughout North America and Europe.
Beginning his career at General Electric Company (GE) in 1980, Espe worked across several lines of business in distribution, sales and marketing for more than 20 years. He progressively moved through several general management roles in domestic and international operations, building and leading profitable businesses. In 1999, Espe was appointed president of GE Plastics Europe - a $2 billion business. In May 2000, Espe returned to the U.S. to take the position of president and CEO of GE Lighting.
Espe has a bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho and a master's in business administration degree from Whittier College.
He is a member of the G100 organization, which includes chairmen and chief executive officers of major, publicly traded companies from around the world. Espe also serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Idaho, is a member of the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Board of Directors and is an active volunteer in the United Way.
