Part Two. Download the TestGen application

1. Go to the TestGen website to download the application http://www.pearsoned.com/testgen

   Lenovo Read the information on the TestGen website to determine which version of TestGen is right for you.

2. Click on the version button for the TestGen version you want to use. This will take you to the page from which you can download.

   Hard Drive Review the instructions on the download page of the TestGen website.

3. Download the correct file for your operating system. For Windows, you can choose between a zipped file (faster download time) or an .exe file (slower download time but eliminates the step of unzipping the file).
4. Save this file on your desktop.
5. If you have downloaded the Windows zip file or the Macintosh file, unzip it now. For instructions on how to unzip a file, see Steps 11 through 13 in Part One of this document.
6. Once the file is unzipped, you can double-click tgsetup.exe (for Windows) or start TestGen 7 Setup (for Mac).

Part Three: Install TestGen

1. Follow the steps on-screen to perform the Typical (Windows) or Easy Install (Macintosh). You must have administrative rights to your computer to successfully install TestGen.
2. The TestGen installation program will take care of moving the testbank from your desktop to a folder in the TestGen directory where testbanks are stored. For TestGen 7, the installation program will also add this testbank to your Testbank Library, which will allow you to access it very easily.
