According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

Laptop Computer Some doctors told the partner in an advertising firm that she was under "too much stress" or it was "all psychological," but Matallana kept searching for answers. That answer came in 1995 when she met with a doctor familiar with fibromyalgia, a chronic illness characterized by musculoskeletal pain, fatigue and multiple "tender points."
laptop computers is driving strong sales for notebook computers, according to the latest quarterly sales figures from the research firm IDC, which reported a 37% computer sales for the second quarter, compared with a year earlier. In the U.S., laptop sales grew 17.7%, while sales of desktop computers and servers fell 4%. The New York Times ( 10), CNET ( 10)
Desktop Computer "It's not like a broken bone or something that's made you look or identified as being sick," said Matallana, founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association based in Orange County, Calif. "But the pain is very real."For 3 to 6 million Americans, fibromyalgia (pronounced fy-bro-my-AL-ja) is a life-changing illness. It primarily affects women, but men and children can also have what is also defined as a condition or syndrome.Looking back, Matallana, who is in her mid-40s, believes the trauma of waking up during a surgical procedure in 1993 triggered her fibromyalgia. Others also trace the onset to a traumatic or painful event, which may affect the central nervous system, according to the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases.
Notebooks Although the cause of the condition is still unknown, some scientists believe it may be associated with changes in muscle metabolism, such as decreased blood flow, causing fatigue and decreased strength. Others believe the syndrome may be triggered by an infectious agent such as a virus in susceptible people, but no such agent has been identified, according to the institute. The problem with fibromyalgia is that many of its symptoms mimic those of other diseases. Matallana saw 37 doctors over two years and was given high-level steroids during the eight months she was treated for lupus - a disease she never had.
Lenovo Doctors can be puzzled by the array of symptoms, which besides widespread stiffness and aching often include fatigue, headache, irritable bowel, sleep disturbances and depression. Although the condition has no cure, it's not terminal and it does not deteriorate or damage the body.
Hard Drive Roland Staud, associate professor of medicine at the University of Florida, said that patients also experience hypersensitivity to touch, temperature, sound and electric stimuli.
Travelstar The condition was once dismissed by doctors as a phantom of the imagination, perhaps because there are no blood or X-ray tests that detect fibromyalgia. In fact, an abnormal blood test is a good indication that a patient doesn't have the disease.
Gateway Validation came in 1990 when the American College of Rheumatology developed a diagnostic criteria for the disease. A person is considered to have fibromyalgia if he or she has widespread pain for at least three months in combination with tenderness in at least 11 of 18 specific sites in the neck, spine, shoulders and hips."The biases that are out there have been found to be unfounded," Staud said.
Laptop Parts Treatment of fibromyalgia requires a comprehensive approach: physical, mental and behavioral. "They often don't respond to just one treatment," Staud said.Patients may end up seeing a psychologist (for help adapting to a new lifestyle), rheumatologist, gastroenterologist, neurologist and nutritionist, Matallana said. Low-impact aerobic exercise often positively affects a patient's physical and mental well-being, Staud said.
Software "We really need to take this seriously and identify the main causes that lead to the worsening of chronic pain," Staud said. His research focuses on the mechanisms of pain and why some people get worse while others don't.Fibromyalgia patients can't take on as many things as other people, which can be difficult. Many have difficulty accepting their condition, asking, "Why me?" Staud said.
Hard Drives "Patients need to find out what works for me, what's the cause, and what's happening to me," Staud said, stressing the importance of individual routines. "I think the problem with chronic pain is it requires a relatively strict lifestyle."
Electronics It's difficult for active people to slow down and put their needs before others. But they have to, Matallana said, because "so much of the management of the illness is put on the patient."
Canon Almost 10 years after her diagnosis, Matallana's condition has greatly improved, although some of her symptoms still persist. "I'm really lucky. It's been very, very slow," she said.
Desktop Pc The association that she started practically from her bed has become a leading organization for fibromyalgia awareness and research funding.
Desktop Computers "I really believe people with fibromyalgia can have a quality of life," Matallana said.
Think Pad For some with the disease, a support group is a good place to start.
Repair Barbara Gioia, 58, of Springfield, Va., has led a fibromyalgia group, supported by the Arthritis Foundation, since July 2000. She started the group shortly after moving to Virginia from Florida and realizing there was no group in the area."The only ones that truly understand are the people that are going through it," said Gioia, who was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 18 years ago.
Data Recovery At Gioia's first meeting, no one showed up. But 15 people came to the next one. Now the group has about 60 members and meets every month at the Sherwood Regional Library. She provides pamphlets and reading at each meeting.
Cisco At the March meeting, most of the 15 people attending were newcomers, joined by this reporter, who was tentatively diagnosed in December. Members of the group allowed me to attend with the understanding I would not quote their conversation.
Keyboard So I stood before 15 unfamiliar faces, explaining that I wanted to learn more about fibromyalgia for an article and because I "might" have the disease.
Monitor "Why do you think you don't have it?" asked a man."Well, maybe it's because I'm hoping it will turn out to be something else," I said, to the amusement of many group members, who nodded in understanding, probably because they once hoped for the same thing. "Or maybe it's because I'm young and na
