Travelstar Council President John Spiech said the property shouldn't be purchased until neighbors know and agree with what the park would entail.

Software Whatever the township does, it will need state and county permission to sell or develop the Airmont tract. The town's $2.1 million purchase of the property three years ago was offset by $1.1 million in county and state Green Acres grants, which restrict development.
