Laptop Battery The federal Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday gave Passaic County a $200,000 grant that officials say will be used to catalog more than 600 brownfields - suspected pollution sites - and pay for a handful of environmental assessments.
According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

Considered part of the New York Metropolitan Area, Bergen County is home to 18th, 19th and 20th century historical landmarks, including a Revolutionary War site. Its close proximity to bustling New York City and to the serenity of nearby mountains, forests and beaches give it a est of both worlds feeling. Travelstar Passaic County was selected for the grant after a yearlong application process because it showed a "great need" for brownfield redevelopment, she said.
Gateway The two-year grant was part of $73.1 million in brownfield revitalization funds awarded to 176 applicants in 37 states and seven tribes by Congress last year. New Jersey received $5 million.
Laptop Parts Passaic was awarded the maximum amount for an assessment grant, said Chelsea Albucher, the EPA's brownfields project manager.
Software Others in New Jersey to receive grants included Trenton, Bayonne, Gloucester City, Hudson County, the Middlesex County Improvement Authority, and Camden.
Hard Drives In addition, the EPA awarded the New Jersey Economic Development Authority $2 million to lend to private enterprises that want to clean up brownfields, or to give to non-profits working with brownfields.
Electronics The money will help the county create jobs, promote recreation, and conserve open space, said Passaic County Freeholder Director Elease Evans. "We can build on the brown and not the green," she said.
Canon Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., D-Paterson, said after a brownfield information meeting at the Paterson Museum in November that many companies came forward and said they had ideas for redeveloping brownfields. The problem was, the county did not know how to direct them.
Desktop Pc "Conventional wisdom says that there's a public stigma about a brownfield site, but in fact there is great willingness and enthusiasm in the public sector to revitalize brownfields," Pascrell said. "There's just not enough information."
