Game Developers Choice Awards Nominees Announced
Laptop Battery The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) today announced the nominees for the 4th annual Game Developers Choice awards. There are eight awards/categories, and the awards will be presented during a ceremony at the Civic Auditorium in San Jose, California, on Wednesday, March 24th, 2004.
The awards ceremony will take place during the middle of the Game Developers Conference, which takes place in the San Jose Convention Center. The awards are sponsored by nVIDIA, the company behind the Xbox's graphics unit and the makers of graphics processing units for PCs and mobile devices. SAN FRANCISCO, CA - February 25, 2004 - The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) today announced nominees for the 4th annual Game Developers Choice Awards. Recipients will be recognized in eight award categories including Game of the Year, Rookie Studio of the Year and Excellence in Visual Arts at the Game Developers Conference (GDC).
The 4th annual Game Developers Choice Awards ceremony, the premier accolades for peer-recognition in game development, will take place in the Civic Auditorium, San Jose , on Wednesday, March 24, 2004.
"The industry has seen an exceptional year from developers. We are proud to honor those who have dedicated their careers to making innovative games," said Jason Della Rocca, Program Director, IGDA. "This award is a tremendous honor as nominees have been selected by their peers."

According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
