Extra-Rich Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 tb Unbleached Flour
  • 2/3 c Evaporated Milk
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 2 tb Butter Or Regular Margarine
  • 1 ts Vanilla
  • 2 ea Eggs; Lg, Slightly Beaten
  • 1 c Pecans; Chopped
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 1 ea Unbaked 9-inch Pie Shell

Directions

  1. Combine the chocolate chips, evaporated milk, and butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine the eggs, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla and pecans in a bowl and mix well.
  4. Gradually stir the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, blending well, and pour into the unbaked pie shell.
  5. Bake in a 375 degree F.
  6. oven for 40 minutes or until the filling is set.
  7. Cool on a wire rack.
