government is expected to announce that it has cut family taxes in
an effort to improve voter support when the 11th budget is
disclosed.

Laptop Computers In an interview on Australian television Sunday, Costello said,
"This budget will invest for the nation, both in infrastructure,
and in terms of our people." Costello later added that low and
middle income families would be the main beneficiaries.

not comment on how much.

Gateway The government's mid-year budget review in December forecast an
underlying surplus of A$11.5 billion for 2005/06 and A$9.7 billion
