Lycos Extends Agreements With DoubleClick Selecting DARTmail As Its Global Email Marketing Platform

New York, 2/23/2004 - DoubleClick Inc. (Nasdaq: DCLK), the leading provider of marketing tools for advertisers, direct marketers and web publishers, today announced that Lycos has selected DoubleClicks DARTmail as its email marketing platform to enhance online communication with their customers. In particular, Lycos is aiming to increase the efficiency of its marketing campaigns so that Lycos users can easily locate and convert to premium paid services. Lycos recently announced a shift in strategy focusing on the creation and re-creation of relationships online.

Lycos new strategy is focused on connecting people through subscription services. Lycos currently also uses DoubleClicks Ensemble solution for its campaign management and customer segmentation needs, and has integrated DARTmail into its marketing automation strategy.
