Nintendo, Elpida Talk Revolution
Yukio Sakamoto, the Chief Executive of Elpida Memory Inc., the world's 5th largest DRAM chip supplier has confirmed to Reuters that his company is in talks with Nintendo about supplying DRAM chips for its next videogame console, the Revolution.
The news comes just as Elpida Memory announces that it will be supplying Sony with DRAM chips for its next PlayStation console along with Toshiba and Samsung.
Nothing is finalized between Elpida Memory and Nintendo yet. According to Sakamoto the final decision is up to Nintendo.
