BxVideo and iShow Tap Sonic Foundry's Mediasite to Capture and
Stream Rich Media Presentations from InfoComm 2004

Laptop Battery Media services firms BxVideo and iShow will use Sonic Foundry's
Mediasite(TM) rich media presentation recorder to capture, stream
and host a variety of presentations at InfoComm 2004. The
presentations, including industry speeches, manufacturer's
demonstrations and training sessions, are being recorded on behalf
of the trade show's organizer, the International Communications
Industries Association (ICIA) through its partnership with Sonic
Foundry. All presentations captured at InfoComm 2004 will be
available at www.infocomm.org.
This collaborative effort showcases the latest in event
presentation recording, and Web streaming and hosting capabilities.
iShow will provide its complete video- and audio-based services to
stream presentations given throughout the InfoComm convention site.
For presentations that incorporate rich media (video, audio and
graphic) content, BxVideo will record the sessions using Mediasite
and provide complete hosting services through its recently
announced RMXPRES(TM) service.
BxVideo discovered Mediasite while working with Carnegie Mellon University, based programs, 11 in Atlanta. It hopes to expand its capabilities by building on Mediasite, which can combine video, audio, slide shows and other forms of media from various devices to create a rich presentation.

Connect!, features a brand-new Pro Lighting and Staging Pavilion;
additional pavilions for Streaming Media/Video Production and
Conferencing; and, an exciting lineup of special events,

presented at these venues will be streamed live and/or recorded for
on-demand viewing. The ICIA also plans to record some of the
InfoComm training sessions and make the content available to people
