Budokai Hitting The Cube Again
Laptop Battery Just like it did last year, Atari will be giving PS2 owners the latest entry in the Budokai series, while giving Cube players the... second latest entry.
With Budokai 3 on the PS2 this November, Atari has announced a Cube port of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 will find a release on Nintendo's console.
This comes as a rather strange move, because the original Budokai on the Cube wasn't exactly a rounding success, especially when compared to the high sales numbers it reached on Sony's machine. So it's rather unclear why Atari is sticking with the same strategy.
Still, GameCube devotees will find a lot to like; several new characters, break-through backgrounds, anime-style special attacks, and tons of unlockables to uncover.
Budokai 2 is aimed for a December 28th release for this year. Better yet, it will be available for a meager price tag of $19.99.
Expect media of the GameCube version soon.
