Spike Announces Award Nominees
Laptop Battery Spike TV revealed all the details about their second
annual Video Game Awards show, including the categories,
nominees and performances scheduled for the event. The winners of
this year's event will be announced during SPIKE TV's Video Game
Awards 2004, which will be hosted by Snoop Dogg live from
Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., on Tuesday, December 14 at 9
PM ET/8C.
According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

Microsoft This year's awards show will feature
musical performances from Ludacris,
Sum41 and Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg will be part of a special
performance with the remaining members of The Doors, he will sing
"Riders on the Storm."

Laptop Computers The nominees of Spike TV's Video Game Awards 2004 were
selected by the Video Game Awards Advisory Board, which consists of
a group of industry experts. The winners will be determined by
votes cast by both the Video Game Awards Advisory Board and
consumers alike. Each category will feature five nominees. Viewer
votes only will determine the winner in three categories: "Most
Addictive Game," "Best Gaming Publication," and "Best Gaming
Website." Voting begins today, November 16th on SpikeTV.com
and runs until December 14th. On the website you can also
view clips of nominated games as well as get other info about the
awards show. Virgin Mobile subscribers will have the opportunity to
vote from the Virgin Extras Menu on their wireless phones.
This time for Best Cast in a Motion Picture, the most prestigious award that the Screen Actors Guild hands out. Known as the only awards show where only actors vote, the 14th annual SAG Award nominees were announced today. And "Hairspray" is up for the biggest prize of them all.
