ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2004--American Megatrends Inc. (AMI), a leading provider of storage and computing innovations worldwide, today announced the developer release of Aptio(TM) system software, previously referred to by AMI as "Athens". APTIO(TM) is AMI's next-generation BIOS firmware based on the Intel Platform Innovation Framework for EFI, a new purpose-built architecture that represents the future of platform firmware enabling.
Unfortunately, there is no concrete details about said games at the moment. THQ will be publishing games developed by Helixe software that are currently being worked on for the Nintendo DS. This marks one of the very first American game makers to announce they are official working on the new portable system. Sega, name Japanese developers to have already thrown their hat into the DS ring.
