Thinkpad Set in the land of Hogwarts, the game will be released in
conjunction with the movie release, and both will follow the same
storyline. Harry Potter and his friends, Ron Weasely and Hermoine
Granger, come
back to school for their third
year when they are confronted with the mystery of Sirius Black,
who somehow escaped from the wizard prison Azkaban. Being the
clever young hero you are, youll be investigating and ultimately
solving this mystery, with the help of your friends of

Gameplay will mainly focus around the main character, Harry
Potter, but at different times during the game youll be able to
switch to one of your companion characters to utilize their
individual feats and spells. Together, to group must solve puzzles,
explore Hogwarts, and fight the Dementors: the guards of Azkabar
prison.

can expect lots of various modes of gameplay throughout the title.
Not only will you fight dementors and solve puzzles, but youll also
have opportunities to play a wide variety of minigames. Also, for
those of you with GBAs, youll be able to raise you own owl using
the connectivity feature. Finally, there will be a two-player mode
in which you can challenge your buddy to a wide variety of games
including a broomstick race, a dueling club game, and a seahorse
fishing game.

Graphics
From screenshots we can see the graphics look pretty good, with
the characters showing a wide range of emotions. You can expect to
see a wide variety of levels as you explore regions of Hogwarts
previously unknown, as well as the familiar territories seen in the
other games.
Notebooks As with past Harry Potter games, Prisoner of Azkaban will
feature a Zelda-inspired camera which follows Potter throughout his
magical world. If we can succesfully judge from how it worked in
the last few Potter games, then the camera here should work
well.
Lenovo Expect some graphical improvements on past Potter games, too,
such as increases texture quality, animation, framerate and
character models.
Hard Drive Sound
Expect a variety of of detailed sound effects, which will bring to
life the many spells you can cast in the game. Additionally, there
will be Harry Potter-inspired
music, as well as full-blown voice
work for all the game's in-game dialogue, as was the case with past
next-generation Harry Potter titles.
Travelstar No word yet on whether the game will run in Pro Logic
II.
Gateway Closing Comments
Harry Potter games have never received much rave
reviews in the past, but this
may be the first one to really break out of that mold. With its
Zelda-inspired gameplay, much like its predecessors, and many
improvements, Prisoner of Azkaban is shaping up to be the best
Potter game yet. And with its June 2, 2004 release date just
around the corner, we'll have more on the game as it
happens.
