eDimensional Denies Nintendo Rumors

Laptop Battery eDimensional, the leading manufacturer and worldwide distributor of cutting edge gaming and virtual reality accessories, yesterday denied rumors of a reported partnership with Nintendo Co., Ltd., of Kyoto, Japan, the worldwide leader in the creation of interactive entertainment.

IGN has a few interesting Revolution tidbits that were posted just recently. The first concerns a rumor that Nintendo literaly scrambled at the last minute to even get a prototype put together to display at E3. However, Perrin Kaplan, Nintendo's vice president of corporate affairs, denies the rumors, saying she saw the final design "eons ago."

Thinkpad Online buzz recently sparked regarding the Florida-based company's discussion to sell its patented stereoscopic 3D technology, which is currently featured on the eDimensional 3D Gaming Glasses and VirtualFX console product, for use by Nintendo in future gaming systems. According to a press release:

Because of eDimensional's ability to convert a two dimensional image on a standard television screen, using the VirtualFX, into a 3D image, some may be correlating this with Nintendo's possible upgrade.

Iwata did go on to say that Nintendo and Bandai are not readying a buyout of any kind, and that they are simply strengthening their current relationship. over was strongly rumored a year ago, when Nintendo initially took the 2.6 percent on Bandai to begin with, but those rumors were denied by both companies in official statements.

Microsoft "While it is typically our policy not to comment on rumors or speculation, due to the overwhelming number of phone calls and emails inquiring about this we felt the need to acknowledge that eDimensional is in no formal discussion or negotiation with Nintendo regarding our stereoscopic 3D technology," said Michael Epstein, CEO of eDimensional.

According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
