F-Secure and Indian ISP Exatt Technologies work together for advanced security solutions
Helsinki, Finland - May 23, 2006 -- F-Secure today announced its partnership with Indian ISP Exatt Technologies to provide data security services to its broadband customers. The service to be launched is introduced under the brand name XSECURE. Exatt, which is based in Mumbai has a customer base of nearly 80,000 subscribers all of whom can now easily improve their security by subscribing to the F-Secure enabled security service. The deal further strengthens F-Secures growing position in the Asian service provider market and contributes to F-Secures global leadership position as an enabler of security services delivered through service providers.

F-Secure has provided Exatt with its F-Secure Service Platform for Consumers - a solution designed to allow ISPs to offer their residential and small office customers a complete, award-winning security solution against viruses, outside attacks, harmful content and spam 24/7.
The Universal Restore option allows restoration of a downed server to completely different hardware or virtual server platform. Jim Steinlage, president of Choice Solutions, an Overland Park, Kan.-based solution provider that works with both Citrix and VMware, said his company has worked with Acronis for the past four to five months and found its technology to complement the VMware virtual server environments.

The company says that its Cryptoglyph covert security solution can now be identified by taking a picture with a mobile phone and then sending it via a security server on any mobile phone network. The security server can then identify whether or not the product is genuine thanks to the fact that the Cryptoglyph technology is claimed to be impossible to replicate. The company says that, if detected, the embedded ciphered information is decoded, instantly identifying the batch or serial number of the product as well as other information contained in the security data base.

The solution provides first-class automated security services and is available in two packages: XSECURE LITE (anti-virus, spyware, firewall) and XSECURE ELITE (anti-virus, spyware, firewall, parental control, spam control).
