RingCentral Appoints Eduardo Hauser, Executive Vice President of AOL Latin America to Its Board of Directors
SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 15, 2004--RingCentral(R) today announced that Eduardo Hauser, Executive Vice President of America Online Latin America, Inc. (Nasdaq:AOLA), has joined the Company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Hauser joined AOL Latin America as part of the company's founding senior management team, after he identified, negotiated and structured the transaction between America Online, Inc. (AOL is a subsidiary of Time Warner Inc.) (NYSE:TWX) and the Cisneros Group of Companies to form AOL Latin America. In his current role, he oversees the operation of the AOL online services in the Latin American region. Prior to joining AOL Latin America, Mr. Hauser held various positions with the Cisneros Group including Corporate Vice President, Vice President of News & Information for Venevision (Venezuela's leading broadcaster), Managing Director of the Cisneros Group's Corporate Office, Assistant to the Chairman & CEO, and Assistant General Counsel of the company's Broadcasting Division. The Cisneros Group of Companies is one of the world's premier media groups.
Eduardo Hauser has spent most of his career working in the Internet and telecommunications, as well as media and entertainment fields in various countries in Latin America and the U.S. He holds a Law Degree (J.D.) from Caracas' Universidad Catolica Andres Bello (1991), and a Master's Degree in Law (LL.M.) from Duke University (1993). He has also studied and trained in international business transactions, investment banking, corporate finance and strategy, as well as corporate negotiations.
