Ghost Recon 2 Released Today

Laptop Battery Ubisoft today announced that they have shipped Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 for the Nintendo GameCube to retailers.

The new first-person shooter features an all new above the shoulder camera, as gamers play as Captain Scott Mitchell, leader of the elite Ghost Recon Special Forces team. Taking place in North Korea in 2007, Ghost Recon 2 fully immerses players in the war of tomorrow.

"A brand-new team of Ghosts is storming the Nintendo GameCube this week," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubisoft. "Captain Scott Mitchell and his team will amaze players as they strive to maintain world peace - near-future realism, intense action and an original campaign that could have been ripped from todays headlines make Tom Clancys Ghost Recon 2 a must-have for any Nintendo GameCube owner."

Rated T for Teen, Ghost Recon 2 is now available for a MSRP of $49.99 at gaming outlets everywhere.
