Laptop Battery Camden County's trash incinerator and a Kaighn Avenue metal plating firm are among the facilities issued violation notices during a state sweep for environmental problems in the city, officials said Thursday.
According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
Thinkpad The Department of Environmental Protection issued violation notices to the trash-to-steam plant for failing to have a monitor required to measure air pollution. It also cited CWS Industries for illegal storage of wastes such as acids, cyanides and metals at its metal plating business.

Desktop Computer During a news conference announcing the results of the sweep, DEP Commissioner Bradley M. Campbell called the strike a key part of Gov. James E. McGreevey's commitment to revitalizing urban areas by ensuring they are cleaner.

Repair Officials with the Pollution Control Financing Authority of Camden County, the agency that runs the incinerator, could not be reached for comment.
Data Recovery The problems at CWS were the most serious involving hazardous waste, Campbell said. A message left on an answering machine at the company was not returned.
Cisco The DEP has given the metal plating company until Oct. 23 to comply with a directive ordering it to properly store the waste acids and solutions. After that, the DEP will remove the materials.
Keyboard Among other serious concerns uncovered in the sweep were several junk and scrap yards that lacked systems to collect polluted runoff flowing off their sites. In some cases, pollution was "sheeting" directly into the Delaware River, Campbell said.
Monitor The DEP plans to conduct follow-up inspections at more than 50 of the facilities cited in the initial inspections.
Desktop "This coordinated effort has already had a positive impact," Campbell said. "Many violators responded quickly with our directives, and we've gained a broader awareness of the environmental challenges being faces by residents citywide."
