With the results now revealed, the PSP appears to have outsold Nintendo's systems combined in the Land of the Rising Sun. What makes this news more interesting for Nintendo fans is that a PSP title finally re-emerged into the Top 10, with a placing at #2. Although the Nintendo DS still has a near million-unit lead (total) in Japan, Sony's handheld keeps retaining steam. Hence, Resident Evil 4 continues to sell at a disappointing rate, despite its initial sales success in the United States from its initial launch numbers.
