William C. Jaris Joins TACODA Systems As Director, East Coast Publisher Sales
TACODA Continues Ramp Up of Staff As Business Expands
NEW YORK (August 2, 2004) TACODA SYSTEMS, the industry pioneer in behavioral targeting and audience management, today announced that William C. Jaris has joined the company in the newly created position of Director, East Coast Publisher Sales. He will report to Charles Smith TACODAs Vice President of U.S. Publisher Sales and add strength to client sales and services.
For the past year, Mr. Jaris, 47, has been Senior Director/Publisher Services at Advertising.com in New York where he initiated successful programs with a number of major media companies and developed company-wide positioning and capabilities. Before that, from 2001 to 2003, Mr. Jaris was Senior VP/Director of Sales LightningCast Inc. also in New York. From 1997 to 2001, Mr. Jaris was with @plan Inc/DoubleClick, Inc. in New York as Executive VP/Director/Product
Sales (@plan was acquired by DoubleClick in February 2001).

An advertising, publishing and internet executive with broad experience in sales and management leading both traditional media and entrepreneurial technologybased organizations, Mr. Jaris, earlier in his career, worked with: Lycos/AdSmart (New York,1996-1997); The Los Angeles Times (New York/Los Angeles, 1993-1996); People Magazine and Money Magazine (Los Angeles,1988-1993); Popular Mechanics (Los Angeles,1986-1988); Dancer Fitzgerald Sample Inc.,(New York, 1982-1985) and SSC&B Advertising, Inc., (New York, 1980-1981).
Mr. Jaris lives in Harrington Park, NJ and is a 1980 graduate of Holy Cross College.
