Laptop Computers Google Spreadsheet offers more user-friendly editing buttons
arranged in a desktop format. Microsoft's Excel is a little complex
in comparison.

Google shows the nation's No. 1 search engine is starting to
encroach on Microsoft's turf. This launch of Google Spreadsheet is
the second application in competition to Microsoft that search
giant has ventured into. Last March Google acquired Writely, an
online word processor that offers similar word processing functions
as Microsoft Word in Microsoft Office.

share it with others you select online. Just enter the email
addresses of the people you want to share a given document, and
then send them a message, says Google Spreadsheet's description

Notebooks But a cool feature is multiple editorial spreadsheet
capabilities through Google's file sharing approach. Now I was
impressed with that!

Some may argue about privacy issues in storing sensitive material
online, but there are distinct advantages in that others can find
it if you want them to. But there was no information on whether
anyone could find it as an
html page within the search
engine's huge web page index. This was a feature made available
(by user option) in Google's Writely word processing
application. But the search giant may have taken too much flack
over it and left web page formatted html versions out of the
loop for the present.
Travelstar Google share enthusiasts greeted the Google Spreadsheets beta
feature with enthusiasm, lifting Google's stock up $12.81, or 3.4
percent, to $387.27 in late afternoon trading in New York.
