If you use Photoshop Elements or an earlier version of
Photoshop and have no Healing Brush or Patch tool to rely on,
you may find the Clone Stamp a helpful tool. The Clone Stamp
duplicates content from one place and lets you click and place
it one or more times in the image, covering existing content
(thus the term stamp in the tool s name). The Clone Stamp
tool doesn t match the stamped content to the surrounding
pixels in the target area. If you stamp green grass on a blue
couch, you get green grass on a blue couch you
don t get a blue, grassy texture on a blue couch. lenovo
To use the Clone Stamp, follow these steps. These steps
apply to Photoshop Elements, but other image editors use a
similar process: 1. Verify the layer that you re in, making
sure that the layer containing the content you want to clone is
highlighted in the Layer palette. You can switch to another
layer later when you stamp the content onto the image. 2. Click
the Clone Stamp tool in the Tool palette to activate it. hard drive

several settings that you can tweak to control how you apply

(where you click the Alt key on a PC, or Option key on the Mac)
and the stamped area. If you leave this setting off (the
default), the cloned location keeps changing as you move your

Use All Layers: If you want your cloning and stamping
to use and affect your image as it appears when you can see all
the layers, select this option. It s unchecked (off) by
default, just so you don t make more of an impact on your

After you customize the tool, you re ready to clone and
stamp. 3. To clone the spot that you want to use to cover
unwanted content, hold down Alt (Option key on a Mac) while you
click the spot that you want to clone. The mouse pointer
changes when you re in Clone Mode, and a crosshair appears
in the center of your brush point. 4. Release the Alt key
(Option key on a Mac) and apply the cloned content by clicking

Planning and preparing nutritious and balanced meals may
present a formiidable challenge, particularly on special
occasions when schedules heat up faster than an open-flame
stove burner. Fact is, following a few simple guidelines can
make you the king or queen of your kitchen domain

meal.
To ensure you are getting a variety of essential nutrients,
serve a variety of foods. For example, if you want to serve
pasta with a basic tomato sauce, add some freshly grated
Parmesan cheese (for calcium and protein and a salad or steamed
green vegetable (for vitamins, minerals, and fiber). Preparing
at least four foods also helps to meet sensory needs for a
variety of flavors, appearances, textures, and aromas. hosting
You can also use the Rule of Fourths to ensure a meal is
balanced. Imagine a dinner plate divided into four sections.
One section should contain a protein-rich food, one section
should contain a starchy food, one section should contain a
vegetable, and the fourth section should contain either a fruit

nonfat choices.
If you want to serve a rich dessert, make sure the rest of
the foods on your menu are lower in fat and calories. For
example, if you want to impress your in-laws with your

grilled fish, steamed vegetables, and whole grain rolls. The

Through the ages, women have received all kinds of advice
about what, and how much, to eat while they re expecting.
Cultural traditions, religious beliefs, and even scientific
thinking all have had their influence. As recently as a
generation ago, women were told to limit how much they ate and
drank and thus kept their weight gain to a minimum. At other
times, they were encouraged to eat lots of fatty foods
that the greater the weight gain, the healthier the child.
These days, your practitioner s advice is likely to depend
on your particular health habits and your size when your
pregnancy begins. Also, if you are carrying more than one baby,
you re expected to gain more than the average number of

In general, you need to eat a balanced, healthy diet and
gain a moderate amount of weight. For women of average size
that is, not underweight or overweight and with
only one baby on the way, this translates into about 25 to 35
pounds (11.5 to 16 kilograms). panasonic
If your diet is balanced and not too heavy in sugar or fat,
you don t need to modify the way you eat dramatically.
During pregnancy, you should take in roughly 300 extra calories
a day, on average. That means that if you re at a healthy
weight and you re taking in 2, 100 calories per day, while

day (perhaps a little less during your first trimester and a

and are unable to eat a well-balanced diet, you may wonder
whether or not you are getting enough nutrition for you and the
baby. The fact is, you can go for several weeks not eating an

that the only foods you can tolerate are foods heavy in starch
or carbohydrates. If all you feel like eating are potatoes,
bread, and pasta, go right ahead. Keeping something down is
important to your health and to the well-being of your growing

needs. The food pyramid from the USDA is a general guideline
that illustrates how much food from each group you should eat.
An important underlying concept in the food pyramid is that the
most important food groups are grain products, fruits, and

fats, oils, and sweets are also included in the pyramid, these
groups should constitute only a small part of your diet. The

substances include candy, many desserts, butter,

protein and calcium: meat, chicken, fish, nuts, beans,
eggs, and milk products such as cheese, yogurt, and, of

chicken, turkey, lean meat, or fish is about 2 to 3 ounces.

to eat about 8 to 10 servings from this group every day.
Although this may seem like quite a lot of food, satisfying
this requirement is easier than you think. One slice of
bread, a few crackers, or half a cup of pasta each make up
only a single serving. If you are like most of us, when you
