Europe Embraces Resident Evil 4

Laptop Battery Capcom launched Resident Evil 4 for the GameCube in Europe roughly one month ago and since that time have managed to score 200,000 units sold of the latest in the classic survival-horror series.

RE4 is so big for the Cube across the pond that its been the most successful game launch for the system since Mario Kart Double Dash!!. Sales of the GameCube have also spiked since Resident Evil 4's launch.

Sweetening the deal was a bonus limited edition available at launch that featured a platinum and black GameCube with a few other goodies that included a playable demo of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and a DVD with trailers for every other Resident Evil title available on the GameCube as well as a making of video.

According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
