Starwood Names Vasant M. Prabhu Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Laptop Battery Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide announced today the appointment of Vasant M. Prabhu to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.
BEDFORD, Mass., April 30, 2008 iRobot Corp. ( IRBT) today announced it has named John J. Leahy to succeed Geoffrey Clear as the company executive vice president and chief financial officer effective June 9, 2008. Leahy will report directly to Colin Angle, chief executive officer, and will be responsible for the full range of finance activities including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, and investor relations. Clear will remain with iRobot as senior finance advisor to the chief executive officer.

Murgo joins Acronis from OpenServices Inc., a leading software vendor in the security information and event management market, where he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Earlier he served in various positions at Process Software Corp., eventually becoming president and chief executive officer. He also was the chief financial officer of web applications vendor Dirig Software Inc. and HPSC Inc.
Microsoft Prabhu will be responsible for the accounting, tax, treasury, strategic planning, corporate development and risk management functions of the corporation, and will report directly to Barry Sternlicht, Starwood`s Chairman and CEO.
