BorderWare Extends Alliance with Open Systems Australia to Deliver MXtreme Mail Firewall Appliances based on Sun Fire Systems

BorderWare Technologies Inc., The Security Appliances Company(TM), today extended its distribution agreement with Open Systems Pty. Ltd., delivering the iForce(TM) Mail Firewall Appliance, Powered by Sun and BorderWare, in Australia. The iForce(TM) Mail Firewall Appliance combines BorderWare's award-winning MXtreme Mail Firewall technology and the Sun Fire(TM) v60x and v65x systems, allowing enterprises to protect the privacy of business communications over the Internet and secure critical network resources against unauthorized access.
In 2003, BorderWare joined the Sun iForce(SM) Partner program, making MXtreme a comprehensive perimeter email security solution available on Sun hardware. Open Systems, a Sun iForce partner that serves both government and private enterprises through a channel of more than 1200 resellers, will deliver BorderWare's email security solution as the Sun iForce Mail Firewall on two systems, the Sun Fire v60x and v65x servers.
