Capcom Titles Delayed To 2005?
Laptop Battery According to EB Games, Capcom's highly-anticipated Resident Evil 4 has been delayed until next year, February 1, 2005. The news comes shocking as Capcom revealed a revised release schedule for the coming year on Wednesday, and listed the action-adventure for a "Winter 2004" release.
Similarly, Killer 7 has also received a delayed release date of February 28, 2005. It had a previous release projection for September of this year.
Although these tentative release dates should only be labeled as a rumor for now, EB Games usually has high credibility on dates such as these because of their ability to foresee the shipment announcements of the publisher.
Constrastingly, GameStop still has Resident Evil 4 listed for a November 16 release date for this year. However, they too have labeled Killer 7 with a late-February release.
Although the delayed release date of Killer 7 surprised no one because of its absence at E3 2004, the possibility of the other horrific title being delayed till next year has baffled the masses. As many E3 attendees will tell you, Resident Evil 4 seemed near completion, without any bumps in the road to gold production. At this point in time, we can only cross our fingers for the title to be in our hands just in time for Christmas. We'll be contacting Capcom next week regarding an official statement on the forecast of these two key titles.
Here's a wishful toast to GCA's Most Wanted Game.
