Laptop Computer About Check Point Software
Windows XP Firewall is designed to protect against unwanted inbound communication and direct attacks, however, it does not protect against unwanted outbound communication. This means that your PC may still be susceptible to Trojans or viruses sent by email, or any malicious software that is already on your computer. Often these malicious programs will attempt to modify network and port settings from the inside, negating the effectiveness of the XP Firewall. For this reason iolo does not recognize Windows XP Firewall as a complete security solution.
