Kanoodle Announces First Self-Service RSS Feed Monetization and Distribution Service, in Partnership with Moreover Technologies: 'BrightAds RSS'
Kanoodle's BrightAds Automated Network Now Offers Additional Revenue- Generating Tools for Small- to Medium-Sized Publishers
NEW YORK, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Kanoodle(R), a leading provider of sponsored listings for content and search results pages announced today that it is offering the first self-service integrated RSS feed delivery and monetization service, BrightAds RSS.
The service is part of the Kanoodle BrightAds(TM) automated network for publishers, which already includes BrightAds Content -- a monetization tool that maps and serves Kanoodle ads to publishers' content pages. Moreover Technologies, the premier provider of aggregated online current awareness information, will power the RSS feed hosting and distribution components of the service.
Small- to medium-sized publishers will now be able to access and benefit from revenue-generating sponsored links as part of their RSS feed toolset. Through BrightAds RSS, Kanoodle's content-targeted sponsored links will be inserted directly into site owners' RSS feeds within posts or as individual posts. As with all of Kanoodle's innovations, relevancy of the ads is assured through Kanoodle's topic-based approach. Higher relevancy delivers higher click-through rates and thus higher yield per page for site owners.
In addition to generating additional revenue, site owners participating in BrightAds RSS will automatically expand their audience. Publishers' feeds will be hosted and distributed through Moreover's feed distribution network, currently the largest headline distribution network on the Web.
"This is the latest example of Kanoodle innovation -- providing yet another solution for publishers to effectively monetize their content in a way that was previously not available," said Lance Podell, chief executive officer of Kanoodle. "By combining Kanoodle's advertiser base and publisher tools with Moreover's distribution expertise, we are enabling more publishers to monetize their quality content while at the same time expanding the reach of their sites."
"There is a great deal of valuable content that is delivered via RSS feeds and, until now, the challenge for these publishers has been finding an effective revenue source for these sites," said Jim Pitkow, president and chief executive officer of Moreover Technologies. "Moreover Technologies is proud to work with Kanoodle to deliver the first integrated RSS feed delivery and monetization service to publishers."
