Secure Computing Named Exclusive Global Provider of Strong Authentication for NTT's FingerQuick Biometric USB Tokens
NTT Electronics Corporation selects Secure Computing SafeWord PremierAccess for strong authentication for fingerprint recognition token
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 20, 2004-- Secure Computing Corporation (NASDAQ:SCUR), the experts in securing connections between people, applications, and networks(TM), today announced that the company's leading authentication solution, SafeWord(R) PremierAccess(TM), is the exclusive authentication software solution for FingerQuick(TM), a new fingerprint-recognition product of NTT Electronics Corporation. FingerQuick is a USB-compatible token that provides biometric finger print recognition, and will be distributed globally.
FingerQuick is a keychain-size token that reads and stores up to ten individual fingerprints, authenticates users, and connects to workstations through a USB interface. The NTT fingerprint certification technology was developed by the NTT Micro System Integration Laboratory. NTT Electronics Corporation produces the USB token with fingerprint recognition and a one-time password using Secure Computing's SafeWord PremierAccess technology.

Availability
FingerQuick will initially be sold by the NTT Electronics Corporation throughout Japan, and in the future will be distributed globally.
