Eclipse Continues to Show Strong Growth in North America
SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 20, 2004--New research from Evans Data Corporation has found that Eclipse, the open source Java IDE is experiencing very strong growth in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) as well in North America. In North America, development using the IDE has increased from 5.6% a year ago to 10.8% today and is the most popular Java IDE in use. Findings from Evans' last few Linux Development Surveys also show that Eclipse is the number one Java development environment in the Linux market as well.

Regionally, this month there are over 29, 000 more flights within Europe offering 5.5 million more seats, an increase of 5% and 8% respectively over May 2006. Pacific continues to show strong growth within the region, with 38, 000 more flights and 6.2 million more seats, increases of 8% and 9% respectively. Zend PDT for Eclipse Debugging questions [ 10036] Thu, 06 1 May 2007 Junior Member Hi Guys, I just installed the Zend PDT debugging tools for Eclipse, and for the first time I have debugging actually working in Eclipse! Which makes me very happy, as I have been coding in Eclipse using the PHPEclipse tools for some time now, but I always have to fire up my registered copy of Zend Studio to do all my debugging. I can' IDE either, simply because there is no way to integrate it with our version control system (Perforce).
