Tarari and Zetools Announce Development of Complementary High-Definition Internet Publishing Solution
Together, Companies Will Work to Create Interoperation Between Tarari's Acceleration Solutions and Zetools Software Applications for Composite Media Authoring and Publishing Over IP Networks
SAN DIEGO & LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 2004--
Tarari, Inc. and Zetools, Inc. jointly announced today that they had entered into an agreement to create a strategic relationship aimed at facilitating the encoding, authoring, content management and publishing of High-Definition (HD) content for delivery over the Internet and other IP networks. Zetools intends to build support for these processes into its suite of software applications that content owners use to create video-centric composited media experiences over the Internet. Within this software, Zetools anticipates invoking hardware platforms that utilize Tarari's acceleration solutions in order to optimize HD encoding processes. As part of the announcement, Zetools has entered into an OEM Agreement with Tarari enabling Zetools to distribute Tarari's hardware and software solutions with Zetools' software applications.
