Laptop Battery For many people, outdoors activity on Christmas Day consists of walking to the car for the ride to grandma's house. However, for some, the holiday agenda isn't complete without a trip to the chilly banks of the Delaware River near Trenton.
According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.
Thinkpad If you don't automatically think "George Washington" when you hear the words Christmas, Delaware and Trenton, then you're a poor student of American history. Either that or you're a Hessian soldier, since those fellows also didn't have Washington crossing the Delaware on their minds that Christmas night in 1776.

Microsoft This Christmas will be the 52nd time Revolutionary War re-enactors will gather at Washington Crossing Historic Park in Bucks County, Pa. on Christmas Day to perform a river crossing. Those who think Christmas is a day to stay indoors might be surprised to learn that about 5,000 people show up each year to watch the re-enactment.
All you need is an Ethernet cross over cable (available at most computer shops) to directly connect MediaMVP with your laptop.
Laptop Computers They gather on both sides of the river, said Clay Craighead, a resource interpretive specialist with Washington Crossing State Park, New Jersey's counterpart to the Pennsylvania site.

Laptop Computer If the history buffs really wanted to be historically accurate, they would recruit about 2,400 comrades and begin the water crossing re-enactment at about 5 p.m., said Craighead. The Father of Our Country waited until nightfall to begin moving the Continental Army across the 300 yards of icy water.
laptop computers is driving strong sales for notebook computers, according to the latest quarterly sales figures from the research firm IDC, which reported a 37% computer sales for the second quarter, compared with a year earlier. In the U.S., laptop sales grew 17.7%, while sales of desktop computers and servers fell 4%. The New York Times ( 10), CNET ( 10)
Desktop Computer Likewise, if the re-enactors were sticklers for perfection, they would take nine or 10 hours to accomplish the river crossing. That's how long it took Washington's troops, said Craighead.
Notebooks But even if they were intent on keeping the event as true to truth as possible, the re-enactors couldn't control the weather. Craighead said there are many facts not known about Washington's famous crossing. But one thing's for sure: the weather that night was horrible.
Lenovo There's nothing fun about an ice storm when you're shuttling an army across a partially frozen river in the dead of night. Consider the words of Col. Henry Knox, who wrote to his wife after the crossing:
Hard Drive "The army passed the river on Christmas night with almost infinite difficulty with 18 field pieces," Knox wrote. "The floating ice in the river made the labor almost incredible. However, perseverance accomplished what at first seemed impossible. The night was cold and stormy. It hailed with great violence."
Travelstar The general public would not last long at an outdoors event at night in those conditions. So, the annual re-enactment occurs at 1 p.m. and only happens if there isn't a storm and if the river isn't too high, too low, too icy or moving too quickly.
Gateway The fellow portraying General Washington usually addresses the "troops" before departing, said Craighead. Cannons are fired. Then the group of about 60 soldiers marches to the site of the former McConkey's Ferry and files into the waiting, historically-accurate boats.
Laptop Parts When they reach the Jersey shoreline, the troops hear a speech by the general. Then, in another departure from history, the re-enactors do not begin marching nine miles toward Trenton. They march, instead, back to Pennsylvania via a nearby bridge. Visitors, meanwhile, will be enjoying warm cider provided by the New Jersey park workers at the Little Nelson House. "It will be free, but we're accepting donations," said Craighead.
Software Despite being a Washington's Crossing State Park employee for about 16 years, Craighead doesn't seem at all bored by the river crossing story. His enthusiasm might be on public display Christmas Day, as Craighead is scheduled to give a short talk. "Then, on Jan. 2, I'm going be giving a lecture on the Second Battle of Trenton and the Battle of Princeton," he noted.
Hard Drives There are those who shudder at the thought of going outdoors in late December to merely watch a historical re-enactment. They might believe July 4 fireworks celebrations are the only time to get patriotic outdoors.
Electronics Perhaps they should buy some warm socks and take a look at the opening line in Thomas Paine's "American Crisis" treatise, first distributed 228 years ago today (Dec. 19, 1776): "These are the times that try men's souls," he wrote. "The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country."
