According to the indictment, Jones would steal various IBM and Penguin computer servers from Verisign's warehouse in Virginia and sell them to Johnson. Johnson would then sell the servers to several individuals, who would sometimes place them for sale on eBay. As a result of this scheme, the indictment alleges that Jones and Johnson caused Verisign to lose more than $120, 000 worth of computer equipment. In the indictment, Jones and Johnson are charged in three counts with causing the interstate transportation of stolen property, namely IBM 330 and 335 servers, in violation of 18 U.S.C.

If Canada geese simply were a nuisance, killing them might seem a bit much. growing number of geese in New Jersey pose health risks, which is why the U.S. Division of Fish and Wildlife Service's decision to increase the number of geese to be rounded up and killed is a sound one.

Laptop Computers "The township committee feels it had to take this assertive action," Giorgio said Monday. "We know that there are a lot of nature lovers we understand that; we are, too. But there comes a point when we have to control the flock of geese to protect the interest of our residents."

laptop computers is driving strong sales for notebook computers, according to the latest quarterly sales figures from the research firm IDC, which reported a 37% computer sales for the second quarter, compared with a year earlier. In the U.S., laptop sales grew 17.7%, while sales of desktop computers and servers fell 4%. The New York Times ( 10), CNET ( 10)

Laptop Computer Officials at the USDA Wildlife Services offices could not be reached Monday evening for comment. The contracts cost almost $1,000 each.

"Computer industry analysts estimate that some 60 percent of all corporate data exists only on desktop and laptop computers, " said Walter Scott, CEO of Acronis. "Incorporating Acronis True Image with New Mexico Software backup server is the ideal solution to capture that corporate data and ensure that it is not lost. While traditional server backups are effective for protecting server data, every company should have a combination of server and workstation backup plans."

Desktop Computer Giorgio did not have the number of geese killed Monday in township parks such as Malapardis and Central, but he said the process will continue this week. It has to be completed by July 8.

Notebooks The more than 100 geese killed Monday at the Hanover sewage treatment plant on Troy Road were buried there, according to executive director Michael Wynne. He said the effectiveness of Monday's killings will be assessed before any further action is taken.

Lenovo Wynne said the authority has waged a campaign to reduce the number of geese on its 58-acre treatment site for several years. "We got to the point that we get goose droppings on the road and cars slide on it," he said.

Hard Drive Wynne said more than 200 to 300 geese can be found on the plant site. Piles of droppings would be three to four inches high, and employees have been attacked by geese in the past.

Travelstar Wynne said the authority has tried several methods, including fencing off the post-aeration and equalization basins, using electronic noise makers and egg addling, to control the goose population. But the methods have only been somewhat successful.

Gateway The authority also tried to grow its grass higher, but geese began nesting in the taller grass, Wynne said. Five years ago, there were 400 to 500 geese on half of the 58-acre property on Troy Road, and about 100 new eggs would hatch annually, he said.

Laptop Parts The goose droppings and feathers make it more difficult to treat waste water, he said.

Software Dr. George Van Orden, Hanover's health officer, said the goose droppings wash into the surface waters and streams, causing elevation of the fecal coliform bacteria level and adding unwanted nutrients. He said a recent sanitary survey of the Whippany watershed discovered that goose droppings are a major source of fecal matter in the Whippany River and local ponds.

Hard Drives Giorgio said the township has tried to curb the problem in stages. He said the euthanasia method was a last resort.

Electronics Township efforts also included fencing and planting shrubs on ponds on township property, as well as spending $1,000 to $1,300 in 2001 and 2002 to hire border collies to chase the geese away. The township also passed an ordinance last year banning the feeding of wildlife and waterfowl on all township property and penalizing people who persistently feed wildlife - particularly ducks, geese and deer.

Canon Representatives from the Coalition to Prevent the Destruction of Canada Geese in Pearl River, N.Y., and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Office of the Humane Society of the United States in Mount Olive could not be reached Monday night.

Desktop Pc "While all these measures to some extent have been beneficial, it really hasn't been enough to control the Canada geese population," Giorgio said.
