Desktop Computer Codey defended his party's record on meeting developers' needs. He said Democrats would support requiring towns to have a master plan for open space, rather than see them buy land to stave off individual development proposals. Open space, he said, should not come at the expense of affordable housing.

Desktop Computers Peter Blicher, a developer from Hopewell Township, said he found the legislators to be understanding, but the point was somewhat moot.
