Thinkpad A Consumer Reports survey showed that Verizon Wireless ranked
best overall in consumer satisfaction, over all of its competitors.
This survey examined the frequency of dropped calls, service area
coverage, static on cell phone calls and busy circuits. Since the
Consumer Reports survey was conducted in major U.S. cities, an
independent test was conducted on the back roads of the Carolinas
and Verizon Wireless proved to be consistently better and more
reliable than competitors like Cingular, Nextel, AT&T, Sprint
and Alltel. Verizon rightfully boasts about its overall customer
satisfaction and fewer problems with service availability,
overloaded circuits, and static on the lines.

Laptop Computer Unlike some of the competitors, Verizon offers single year
contracts. This is good for a first time cell phone user, not to be
locked into a long term contract with a company you may not be
