Canon Follow installation instructions that are downloaded with the Demo version of Director or that are included on the installation CD-ROM for the commercial version of Director.

Desktop Computers Apple Quicktime
Think Pad Quicktime is the software extension for both Macintosh and Windows that is used to play digital video files that are generated using the Quicktime format. Quicktime can be downloaded from Apple's web site at http://www.apple.com. Follow the instructions for installation that are downloaded with the software.
Repair Quicktime is required for the playback of the completed version of the Billionaire's Shop project in chapter 1 and in all lessons from chapter 5 to 11.
Data Recovery Macromedia Shockwave
Cisco Shockwave is the extension that is used to play Macromedia Director movie files through a web page. The shockwave extension must be installed in the extensions folder of a browser such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Shockwave is available for download from Macromedia's web site at http://www.macromedia.com. Follow the instructions for installation that are downloaded with the software.
Keyboard Shockwave is required for the Shockwave lesson in chapter 11.
Monitor Installation Instructions:
Desktop After installing Director, Quicktime, and Shockwave per the instructions in the section titled Other Software Needed, remove the CD-ROM from the rear cover of the book and insert into your computer's CD-ROM drive. Windows: Double click on your CD-ROM drive icon to access the directories on the disc. Macintosh: Double click on the CD-ROM image that appears on your desktop.
