City To Dump Snow In The Passaic River

Newark and Paterson will dump snow into the Passaic River. Stockton's excess snow will head into the Delaware River, and Jersey City's snow will either go into the Hudson River or Newark Bay. Newark Mayor Sharpe James addressed the city council yesterday as they criticized the city's snow removal efforts. Council members said they had been deluged by calls from residents who said they couldn't get out onto their streets and some people who paid private contractors to plow their street.
