Worldwide revenue is projected to reach $8.5 billion in 2007."In a quarter typically weak due to seasonality, the service provider router and switch market bested our estimates and was basically flat," said Infonetics Research's Kevin Mitchell, directing analyst and lead author of the report. "With solid growth over the same period last year, the market seems to have retained the momentum it generated in the second half of 2003, which sets the right tone for 2004."
