Revolution TV Remote?
Laptop Battery If there is one thing that almost everyone can agree on about Nintendo's new controller for its Revolution next-generation system, its that the thing looks like a TV remote control. And Nintendo now intends to make that observation stick, sort of.
As you may or may not know, Nintendo of Japan has a rewards-based program called Club Nintendo where members earn points by purchasing Nintendo games, and those points can be traded for neat little items. Now, one of those neat items is going to be a functioning TV remote control which looks like the Revolution controller, though of course, it can't be used for games.
Of course, only Club Nintendo members who have obtained a "Platinum Membership" will be offered this new item, which is the highest rank awarded by the program. It is unlikely that this will be seen outside of Japan, like most Club Nintendo giveaways.
