SkyBridge Wireless Inc. Negotiates Two New Radio Site Contracts for Additional Wireless Broadband Access Point Expansion in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 2004--SkyBridge Wireless Inc. (OTC BB: SBWL) announced today that it is negotiating two new Access Point location contracts for the continued expansion of its Fixed Wireless Broadband network in Las Vegas. These two new sites, one in the eastern section of the city and the other in the central north section of Las Vegas, will expand SkyBridge Wireless' network footprint coverage area for the Las Vegas valley, and supply potential customers in these new areas with the much-needed Internet broadband connectivity, which is lacking in these areas.
Jason Neiberger, SkyBridge Wireless Inc. president, stated, "Once completed, these two sites will provide Fixed Wireless High Speed Internet Access to clients over 161 square miles of coverage." He further stated, "In addition to providing access to these potential customers, these two locations will add redundancy to SkyBridge's High Speed licensed Las Vegas backbone, increasing the capacity of the overall network and providing quality service to our clients."
James Wheeler, SkyBridge Wireless Inc. CEO, stated, "Negotiations are going well for these two new sites and we anticipate final agreements and contracts within the next few weeks. Once contracts are signed, the two new sites should be fully operational in 60 to 90 days."
